The California Attorney General responds to a request from Pershing Square Renew, a nonprofit formed by indicted Los Angeles Councilmember Jose Huizar, to dissolve, and accept the statement that the organization has no assets.
The largest supposed "donor" to Pershing Square Renew was developer MacFarlane Partners, who in return for its support "won" Huizar's competition to develop the lucrative Bunker Hill Parcel Y-1, aka Angels Landing.
